# Treatment

> Present the examinations, the procedure allowance, and the procedure choice of a stay.

A package's [Treatment](https://docs.spaportal.cz/api/objects/treatment.md) says what the stay includes.
A hotel's [`procedures`](https://docs.spaportal.cz/api/objects/hotel#procedures) say what the hotel can
provide. Both use the [Procedure](https://docs.spaportal.cz/api/objects/procedure.md) object, so you can
join them by `code`.

## Examinations depend on stay length

An examination with a `…FromNights` threshold is included only when the stay
reaches that length. An interim examination with `interimFromNights: 14` is
part of a 14-night stay, but not of a 7-night stay. The interim and final
thresholds are independent, so a stay can reach one and not the other.

## Allowances and fixed lists

The overall allowance and the item counts are independent numbers. A package
can include 15 procedures per week and also list six carbon dioxide baths and
four peat wraps for the whole stay. Show the allowance with its unit and the
list with its own counts. Do not multiply item counts by the number of weeks,
and do not expect them to add up to the allowance.

With `selection: hotel_offer`, an empty item list does not mean that no
treatment is included: the guest chooses from the hotel's
[`procedures`](https://docs.spaportal.cz/api/objects/hotel#procedures), so present those as the
choices. With `from_list`, the items are the choices, not a promise that
every listed procedure is provided.
